the only part in common for the conversion to Daytona or Superbird are the pop-up headlight buckets



I thought the Charger 500's were produced first and when they didn't deliver on the race track they went to the Daytona. Both the 500 and Daytona have the same first 4 digits in their vin, XX29. They only way to tell the difference is the 500's have a lower lower because they were produced first. The Daytona's weren't made until Spring of 69.
