If you were to speed up the ratio by 1/2 and have the throttle just pull on an extension spring[low tension]I think you could do it if you get my idea.
I do and didn’t think about adding the spring but if you look at my levers I have already advanced the kickdown about 40% so I think adding a stiff spring would probably simplify it.
