i just did a quick rock auto search, and that seems not to be the case any more. i always thought the 11/16 chrysler items were cheaper as well.
using moog for my search.
chysler tie rod - $15.34, and adjuster sleeve - $14.24
dodge tie rod - $13.78, adjuster sleeve - $11.86
so who knows ?
