I can't remember if those retainer plate holes are 1/4 or 5/16 size, I think 1/4-inch course
I'm pretty sure the upper drier side bolt holes is not a blind hole; it is opened on the back side into the lifter valley and relies on drip oil through that hollow bolt dripping onto the original tabs
