i have bought poly bushings of all kinds at swap meets, cheap. they usually are in the "everything" boxes.
i then spin them down on the lathe or mill for whatever project i'm working on.
i realize not every guy has a lathe or mill in his shop, or has a buddy with one, but sometimes a guy has to look at something and think what it could be turned into.
i suffer greatly from that syndrome. that's why there is so much "excess" material on the shelves.
