But moving ahead, here is one AMC version of the Ranco valve. And as you surmised, they are pretty much the same other than the brackets. So that is for the most part what a "rebuild" consists of, moving the brackets. "We live in a time when intelligent people are being silenced so that stupid people won't be offended".
