I'd say definitely yes.

The problem is if you don't try it, you don't know what you're missing. But then again, maybe that's an argument to not get one.

Now that I have been using them for years, I can't go back to just using the built in TV speakers. Plus, no built in TV speakers will give you actual surround sound that you can get with a soundbar that has rear speakers. I have a samsung 65" and a Vizio soundbar with wireless subwoofer, and the subwoofer connects (with wires) to two rear surround speakers.
