Have a crate hemi 2003 . brand new. But buy the time you buy a late model do work to it .my understanding i can put on newer heads and cam and be there . Nothing is cheap.... doing a 6.4 in a 72 cuda... Parts, kits etc arent cheap. but why go back to a carb when you can have fuel injection?
