Only the buyer or a broker can bring it across.
Many Canadians will bring cars to U.S. shows for sale. If they tell the border they're taking it to sell they are turned away at the border. If they keep their yap shut and get it to the show and cut a deal then the car MUST come back to Canada and the buyer must then come to Canada to pick it up or arrange a broker. And FWIW, these same rules apply to Canadians importing a car from the U.S.
Is it really that long to get a passport ?? Only a couple or three weeks wait up here.
