I have probably six or seven digital calipers from Starrett's to Mitutoyo to Beta to etc., high end to low end to five or more non-digital and my favorite of the all is one that you can buy at Lowe's, Home Depot, Ace HW, True Value etc., for around $39 bucks a General Tools & Instruments 6-in Digital model 1467. If you look at the image of one of the three modes you may see why, IT ALSO DOES FRACTIONS !
