Although I never did get to finish the project due to a flood event that had my car under 15' of water for three weeks, I was also in the process of a 5,7 and 5spd automatic transplant into a 71 Challenger. The trans tunnel was going to end up being stupid huge (I was ok with that) but the torsion bar cross member was going to need to be completely rebuilt. I didn't get to the cross member as that's when the flood hit us and then I had a house to rebuild, so the car got sold off.
