It's only worth it if you're saving considerably money to go. Like you said, they're easy to take it, difficult to get it back. Having $xx,xxx, sometimes more, in your hand as a promoter is a zero interest loan they can use for temporary investment purposes. That's all fine unless you aren't saving to pre enter or if their refund policy isnt posted.
