I don't I would rather pay at the gate especially if the weather is iffy. The only thing I pre-enter is Carlisle as I show my truck there and race it at a nearby track during the event. It might be beneficial to pre-enter races because they often offer a discount if entered early but as I said I would rather pay when I show up. Another thing to remember... when booking hotel rooms out of state and doing it online the cheaper rates advertised often can't be canceled ... read the fine print! You have to make sure that the rate you book at can be canceled. usually up to a day of so in advance. Years ago I booked a room at a Holiday Inn Express near Keystone / Pittsburgh Raceway as I was attending Mopar race there the weather forecast was wet and I didn't want to make the six hour tow, when I went to cancel the room I was told I would be charged for the room and that it was non refundable luckily my credit card got me the refund.
