the thing about the aluminum shields is the certification.
how does that thing go "bad" after 5 [?] years unless the transmission blows up, deforming it, or it is cut up into chunks.
just as bad as the seat belt fiasco in my opinion. [ya know, grumpy old guy muttering in his oatmeal...... ]
