Ez-out will only aggravate the problem as the tube is a slight press fit to begin with, tapping a tread and inserting a bolt in the broken tube is the usual course to avoid pulling the pan, I usually use a metric tap/bolt to pull busted dipstick tubes smblk or BBlk, sometimes just the bite of a tap will lock on and spin the tube end out, after tapping a tread, use a hex head bolt and drift it up from below using the head of the bolt to drift on......
