I have a snap on torque wrench that I got back around 1970. Couple years ago while torqueing the main on an engine build it locked up and would no longer klick. Took it to the snap on dealer. Was told it was to old to get fixed or replaced under their life time Warrenty. He offered to sell me one of his $300 plus dollar torque wrenches. Walked away an went to Harbor Freight and bought one of theirs for under $100. Works just fine. Not going to pay $300 plus for something I only use maybe five or six times a year. I guess their life time Warrenty isn’t lifetime after all.
