Dave Boertman SS/JA 1971 Challenger was a lot slower than Wrens 1971 Cuda was Dave was thrown out of the Indy Nationals two years later running that quick and fast after winning the class in teardown in either 1974 or 1975 , the wheelbase was 1/8 inch to short He was one of many sportsman racers sponsored by Mopar in the NHRA sportsman classes before they went BK in 1980 due to the unfair weight advantage NHRA had given to the Chevy Pro Sttock racers racing against the Hemi cars in 1973. I remember the SS/A and SS/AA cars running in the mid to low nines in the 1974 Winternataionals. Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)
