Why "no fender tag vs. repo"? There is supposed to be a tag there. It would be like popping the hood and having no air cleaner or no radiator shroud around the fan. It looks like something is missing.
If the guy isn't selling the car and has the original build sheet, I don't see the big deal. It isn't a rare hemi car or 6 pack. It is a 73 Challenger.
He can have one made if he wants, but the general consensus here is that no tag is better than a repro tag. Even with the broadcast sheet it probably won't duplicate his missing tag. There was no rhyme or reason to some of the codes that did or didn't make it onto the tag. And I believe he'll have to guess at the SPD and the VON.
