Uncle Tonys Garage has videos of slant 6 builds. At 225ci a supercharger from the 231ci 3.8 liter Buick (Bonnevilles Grand Prixs and Lesabres) would be a nice sized component.
He's also a particular fan of the 170 - "the perfect engine". Apparently in its day it ran in some junior NASCAR type series and ran away with the championship against the opposition (presumably other sixes??)
The slant six was so successful in the NASCAR series that they discontinued the events. They took 1st through 3rd and no one was close.
They kicked a$$ on the road course too.
But this was a six cylinder event.
