Perhaps it's my age, or my station in life...but I am totally satisfied with the way it runs, high tens, mid tens on a good day. I have no desire to run quicker.

It's an antique car, with antique technology. I am comfortable in it (I've owned and driven it for forty years), the pieces in the motor are old school, I know the stuff. It's consistent, doesn't require much maintenence, and is fun to drive. More importantly, it gives me time to race with my sons and my old pals like BG who I've known since the stone age.

A few years ago Kyle had this idea that he would put a big stroker in, all the fancy stuff.....I shot it down because I wasn't ready to quit myself. He got so mad at me he went out and bought his own cars, which are much faster and quicker. Bully for him.

So, I'm totally satisfied. Life is good.
