I guess that my issue is I R&R the engine and 727 tranny all together. WHY? Because i have a flex-plate shield bolted at the trany to engine. This shield catches the stock 1970 Ebody firewall and makes it difficult to get by the rounded edge of the front of the Kframe...because of the oilpan kickout on the passenger side.

So I want to try a different oil pan. I could tunnel the Barracuda...but don't want to chop it up...yet. I could use a turbo 350 with a certified case...but want to stay Mopar. Wish there was certified case for my 727 so I wouldn't need the flex plate shield and a blanket.
