Small update on the car, I’ve been driving it around and giving out small beatings here and there, so far it’s seems fine. Had a small breaking up ignition issue but that apparently was just the rev limiter having issues with the Orange Box. Thanks again for everyone’s help forgot how much fun it was to drive the old girl.
Rev limiters work by NOT firing random cylinders. If you run it up against the limiter it will in fact "break up". You can't use it like a governor or cruise control.
