I have yet to see much of a color difference with viewing a cross section of cut to length PT board. Are we talking about "new" eco friendly treated wood? The green brush on copper/arsenic treatments I believe are no longer available for sale to the public, or very restricted. My thinking was, the OP had no real concerns to be worried about. Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.
