I recently did 2 66ish assemblies. The center pin was stuck, not the square pin, though it was stiff. I had to press both out. You will see the spot weld if used. Used smallest diameter fitting the pin would pass through against the bracket. Pressed out. Once it popped it came out on low pressure.


The center pin is free, the sqaure head pin is seized in the two moveable pivot brackets.

up Yup, makes sense. I haven't done a lot of these and maybe I'm just lucky but the lower shaft that goes through the side brackets (the square headed shaft) has always been the frozen one.


Been soaking for a few days. Not even thinking of budging. Hit it with heat while it was in the press, nothing yet.

Going to wait until I get the booster back and if it’s still stuck it gets the grinder.
