So how long are you guys seeing these braided hoses last before they have internal issues?

I've had one braided fuel line start leaking after about 12 or 13 years of use.
I'm still using the same external oil pickup braided line I put on my car in 2003. I have not noticed any issues w/ it, but now I'm thinking maybe it's time to change it anyway.
Same w/ my trans cooler lines...regular -6an braided steel, not ptfe. Been on the car since somewhere around 2003 or 2004 I think.
