I personally have never seen one and was under the assumption the Dana was used. Would this 9-1/4 be the same as the 70-80 truck rear? I did part out a 68 and 69 440 4 speed car and both had the 9-3/4 dana. Was it a one year only thing?

Typo

Not a typo, the Dana 53 has a 9 1/4" ring gear. From the '67 C-Body manual:

The original post was about the service manual stating of a 9-1/4 Dana in a B body. yet no such animal exists
THATS a typo.

Bill, how then did I end up with the one that went in my 62 with absolutely no modifications ? confused
