I have my Holley pump right in front of my stock gas tank by the sending unit above the rear diff. Its not lower then the tank as its actually even with it or near the top of the tank. Its not many places to mount it lower then the stock tank. It pulled fuel instantly and has never ben a problem running in the 10's with a 3/8 line. I will say whenever I install a new electric pump I always put a bit of engine oil in the pump so it does not start dry and helps it seal well when first pulling fuel into it. I have never had a problem with the Holly pump mounted like that. Ron
