I don't see how having more stroke available on the cable would help, the pedal itself is limited to close to the 2 3/4, although it probably really has a little closer to 3 inches in reality. But I don't think the pedal has 3 3/4 of travel if you're running a stock pedal.

What are you using for a throttle cable bracket?


It is the stock bracket. When you mount the cable to the bracket you are using about 1 inch or better of stroke. I can cut the stop off the pedal and that could possibly work. Only thing is the pedal will be high off the floor. Like I said the cable that was on the car works stroke wise just wont reach the mounts. I never had this kind of problem before doing all kinds of swaps.
