i'm thinking of doing aluminum main caps on my 440/493 stroker, chasing 700-750 hp. what are the real world advantages, if any. it was suggested to do ali caps and timing belt to help with block damaging harmonics.
BCR and 440 sourse both do ali caps and both claim theirs are the ducks nuts.
any advice on this much appreciated. car will see mainly strip duty. TIA
