The new Sniper and FiTech TBI EFI are really good for the money. Way better than the old non-wideband O2, non-self learning systems that were way more expensive.
I did the old Edelbrock XT EFI several years back and it was OK, but the old style computer did not offer any additional options. I upgraded the electronics of it with a FAST 2.0 computer system, but I have way too much money into that system.
Just for fun, I put a FiTech 1200 pa on the 500" Charger engine with 12.4:1 compression, and a large 270+ duration @ 0.050", 0.700"+ lift cam just because everyone said you can't use EFI on a engine with a big cam. It actually runs really good. I may have gave up a bit of power because the EFI throttle body is only around 800 cfm, and I was running a 1,000 cfm HP Carb before, but the EFI drivability it so much better I don't want to go back to a carb.
