I'm not sure how many wires you had to tap into. If it were me I would go to each one of those circuits. Disconnect both ends of each circuit. Check each for continuity, short to another circuit, short to ground. We like to connect power at one end of each circuit and then connect a load to the other end (headlamp bulb works well). If the bulb lights when you run power thru each individual circuit it's ability to carry current is assured. Don't forget to test the harness you removed as well. My bet you'll find your issue.
