If the car is set up right it doesn’t take much to hold the rear u-joint in place. I’m sure an Engineer or someone smarter than I am could word it better but the saddle holds the u-joins in place and does most of the work. My Duster goes 1.25 in the 60 foot and I have the cheap factory straps and 5/16 bolts on my stock Dana yoke.

Anything more than a factory strap is just a fancy part looking for a problem that doesn't exist, IMO.
