I suggest you get into IMC as often as you can in your IFR training, I didn't get to do that much by taking my training in Phoenix,AZ. Also keep current one you get that rating
My instructor said the same thing. I have 32 hours so far and only about 3 hours were under real IMC. I flew my long XC last week under the hood with my CFI, chapter 24 out of 26 in the syllabus. I need a few more hours XC so I have been flying a lot here lately.
