You might try some different fans, I run some dodge intrepid fans that clear the water pump in the middle after a little surgery. I have a 600ish hp small block and the water pump is real close to the radiator. Electric water pump and fans and my target burnout box temp is 140.

Your block being filled may be harder to cool but fans really made the difference with mine. I made 3 passes in less than 45 minutes on the last day of drag week this year, 140 in the burnout box every time.
