One more question, I noticed yesterday that while pressing the brakes the car did not want to idle in gear. Idles fine in park or neutral. Before the wheel cylinders completely quit, I did not have a problem. Would this have an effect on the idle, or is it just time to do some adjusting on the carb?
could need mixture screw adjustment (or internal carb cleaning) or the booster could have a vac leak. put the ebrake on & idling in gear & if it is still idling clean then press the brake pedal & see if the idle acts up.
