There's a VERY (50+ pages?) long thread on FABO about FiTech and timing signals. According to Pace Performance and FiTech the unit requires a very clean digital signal to function properly. And an adjustable rotor to get the phasing correct. So MSD or one of the other ready to run distributors is required. If you've got plenty of spare time to read the thread there's a lot of great info in there.
