um, the 16 is 16 threads per inch. one inch will give you the .062 per one turn. to get a "turn" value on thread sizes less than one inch, you divide .750 [the thread size] by 16 [the thread pitch]. that equals .0468[and change] per one turn on a 3/4-16 thread.
