Well I am sure I will buy another block or 10 over the next few years. I have no issue with any of them, I have used all of them and they all needed some sort of work to be used as delivered. Just the cost of doing business, not been much different with the brand X stuff either really. Although I will say the worst problem came from KB and basically was not fixable to be used as ordered.
I agree all new blocks need to be tweaked and looked over to make everything usable.... my KB block, the decks were -.022" from where they were ordered, the rear main seal area was welded on,and the main line bore was off,those were just the big items that needed to be addressed. the block was a Little over $7700( lots of options ).... spent another $1500 fixing items..... I was the same $$$$ as a custom billet brad anderson block after all said and done,and would have gotten it way sooner.... any one reading this think before you drop that much hard earned money in a possible paper weight...
