Sorry you had issues. My guess is you got an early block though MP perfromace. Many of those early ones did not have ARP studs. From what I understand that was by contract from Mopar. No one said you made it up, however you did say they are restoration pieces. Obviously some of us don't feel the same way. And there are a number of them out there making plenty of power without issue. So feel free to flame away

I have had ZERO issues with all of the ones I have used. All but one of them is in a racecar being beat on a regular basis without issue. Never had one WITHOUT ARP main hardware. My current block had some issues to be sure. We concluded it was likely a "blem" block which was purchased from a respected large Mopar engine shop.
