My restoration only have a bit over 1200hp. The other BMP blocks I have used have all been at or over 1000hp and show no signs of "bouncing the main" out of them either. Have another Bill Mitchell BB block in our Camaro, never one issue with it either, other than being a little heavy its been trouble free for 16 years.
