If you have a bellhousing that takes the larger of the two "normal" bearing retainers you can pop the retainer off and have it turned down to fit.

It's about the easiest operation you can do on a lathe and takes just a couple minutes to do.

If nothing else, you can sent it to me and I'll turn it to size. It would take longer to put it in a shipping box than to turn it down.

Is it possible to turn down the OD retainer to fit a 4.35 bearing hole when the trans has a 308 front bearing ?? I know it's possible to take the 5.125 retainer down to 4.80 , but to 4.35 ???

Probably be into the bolt holes or close to it.
