I had the same problem with my '62 except it was the park cable. I got mine from Imperial Services
http://www.imperialservices.net/Bparts.html But it took several months and the threat of mail fraud to get it delivered. The new cable solved the problem. I think the quality of the Imperial Services stuff is very good. Again, if you can get them to deliver. Be very cautious. If you know someone in Michigan maybe you can get them to go to Imperial and pick one up for you??
DON'T DO IT! Steve Charette who now owns Imperial Services still has $410 of my customers money for over one year, doesn't answer the phone, and will only BS you into sending him money. He's a dirtbag and a thief! Still waiting on 'parts' to finish a ratio adapter....
