The heat shrink will fix any leaks in the crimp ares or melted spots in the outer cable. Good O-rings will repair a leak into the case or housing. I have found the park cable housing is often warped. Some elbow grease with a stone will fix that leak. John has shown the repair for the speedo adapter. There is no need for RTV. Doug
