Yes I think your right, it is possible in some states to get a used commercial truck changed to motor home plates.

They want 4 or 5 minimum requirements to be considered a motor home... fresh water, fridge, sleeping, toilet and stove sometimes or a microwave.
But then as I understand it, insurance is tough to impossible to find for it. There is no easily way to put a value on a custom truck conversion and insurance companys don't like em.
