The OP was asking about steel tubing, I don't know how we got onto copper.

I would never use copper anywhere on any of my cars, same with aluminum tubing. It don't belong on a street car.


I agree i wouldn' use copper either,Iwas just telling him the stretching process might work on steel tubing,but didn't know that it would.I realized he wasn't going to use copper on his car. Sorry if I confused anybody.
