That's gonna change the diameter of the tubing, very bad idea and advise.

Roll it out on the floor and you will be fine.
I have bought and installed 100s of rolls of copper tubing in my time, as I'm in the propane business.

you don't have to pull copper hard enough to change the size. I said i didn't know about steel. You will have to use tubing benders after. I've unrolled a few rolls of soft copper in my time,never saw any come out straight enough that I would want to use on a car of mine.
