the biggest problem with TQ's is the bowls leaking. i had a brand new bowl I used on my TQ when i got my car on the road back in '09. this week I took it apart to freshen it up and found the bowl leaking at the primary jet well. I had to go through 4 bowls before i found one that didn't leak. good thing i have a stash of them on the shelf.
Thats the only issue I ever had and it's an easy fix,remove the well,clean off the old epoxy,use a gas resistant epoxy to put it back on and you're done !!
