it took me MANY tries to finally figure out how to get these things to work correctly, and now i prefer them over anything out there. in the meantime, i played with holleys and couldn't get them to do anything other than run rich. i also made up a couple of cnc programs to make metering rods and jets, due to the limited availability, and now have enough parts to do lots in my future. i try to buy core carbs at swap meets for $25 or so.
