I sold a factory 440 4V intake manifold to a member here a couple years ago b/c of this very reason. He couldn't find an aftermarket intake that would work w/ the factory air grabber/ramcharger setup w/o modifying the crap out of the air cleaner base.

Also remember that if someone tells you an Edelbrock Performer (or whatever manifold) fit the ramcharger setup on their 383, doesn't mean the equivalent manifold will work on your 440. The 440 is taller due to the raised deck height of the block.
