If you're starting from scratch on buying parts I'd say use the 2.200 size rod journals and eliminate the need for the external oil pick-up completely.

If I would have known, I would have. twocents

It really depends on which block you start with on the external oiling system.

If it's a Mopar Performance/World block that has the AN boss on the front of the number 1 cylinder it's not too bad.
You basically need a pan mount swinging or fixed pick-up and a line to run it to the AN boss. You can use any normal style oil pump.

Mine uses a regular Street Hemi oil pan with the swinging pick-up.
How mine looked before paint.

Without the AN boss you need a pump that uses an external oil feed line, which can run into engine mount clearance problems if you run factory style mounts.

As far as the heads, if you replace the installed Mopar valve springs the Mopar Perf heads would probably be fine.
Stage V heads might be a better option. shruggy

Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol
